Message So one thing that our car lask and i all ways wanted was some type of a trunk light, so this is what i came up with and works very well.

*Pictures were taken in my dark garage

(Dome,map and truck light-OFF)

(24-SMD led Dome light-ON)

(Dome and Truck Light-ON)

(Trunk cover pulled open w/Dome and Truck Light-ON)

(Before install)

Only comes ON when the truck is opened and the trunk trigger becomes grounded.

(Material used)
(1) 370Z Lamp Assy part#26590 $19.22
(1) 12-SMD LED panel light
12" of both Red(+) and Blk(-) wire
Wire taps
Wire stripper
Dremel w/sanding wheel attachment
Small file

(Instructions)
-Make a template of the back of lamp assy then measure the template for its center point horizontally.
-Apply painters tape to center panel and measure that also for it's center point horizontally.
-Now adjust your template vertically to allow clearance for the back side of the lamp assy to the trunk latch mounting bolts head.
-Transfer your template to the panel using a marker then use a dremel to cut out the opening.
-Then connect the led panel (+) wire to the thin "Red" wire running Horizontally (in bundled wire loom) thru the trunk and the (-) to the thin "Blk" wire attached to the trunk trigger.
