i dropped the whole rear end at once. that hardest part was getting the exhaust off because of the rust welded bolts. lol... i hate exhaust bolts. but anyways. i got the tank to drop enough to feel for the hole and sure enough it's a small screw hole. it's amazing that that much fuel could come out of such a small hole like that... but oh well. now to figure out how to plug it. i was thinking of just getting a rubber washer and a screw and just tightening the screw all the way in and letting the rubber washer seal the edge... but do you think the fuel would eat through the rubber? i mean it wouldn't be a lot of fuel obviously cause i would get a screw to plug the hole and the rubber washer would pretty much just be a final plug i guess. any input? im not sure about the epoxy fix-it kits and personally i don't think the hole is significant enough to take to someone to get welded. it just wouldn't be cost effective. any input would be great!
thanx guys for all the help! and for future reference to all you guys that like to put loud ass systems in your cars... pick a different place to mount the amp than behind the seats. the gas tank sits so close to the chassis wall that you will just put a hole into the tank. so find somewhere else to mount the amp!!! lol
