Message	who did the wiring? have you replaced the pressure plate and with what? and if not have you checked the starter gear teeth? might be sticking. I'm not positive (lol) about the started but the Zed works off switched earth for a lot of things. so it could be a wiring issue. better off isolating the starter electrics.
