Subject	Starter will not disengage

Message	I just replaced the heads and installed the motor. On its first start up attempt there was a loud screeching sound. I found out that the starter would not disengage and burnt up the starter. I replaced it with another one and still the same thing. My wiring is not a stock setup. I have the battery relocated to the trunk. Any thoughts on this ?
