Subject	What are traces in rear hatch glass?

Message	I was repairing the rear window defog traces and I noticed there appears to be two separate circuits in the glass - the defog traces that are connected from one side to the other and another trace at the top that is connected to only the passenger side. I might guess that the singly-connected trace at the top is an antenna. Does anyone know what that singly-connected trace is for/what it is connected to?
