Message	the crank case does see pressure during a boost leak test due to blow by at the rings. Doubt you messed up the air regulator spraying wd40 into it. My guess is the fuel rail to lower plenum insulators or the lower to upper plenum gasket shifted out of place during install. Those insulators can get hard and brittle over the years and prob won't seal well if disturbed.
