Hi Guys, I haven't logged onto tt.net in quite some time, I was formerly FantomZ32, I guess the accounts were wiped at some point. I also haven't driven my Z very much in the past few years, this is mainly due to a misfire that has been plaguing it that I haven't had the motivation to fix until recently. For starters: 90TT, 5MT,72k miles, JWT intake, Borla Exhaust. Timing belt was done 2 years ago, plugs and fuel filter were done 4 or 5 years ago, with maybe 2000 miles driven since then. The misfire happened prior to the plugs being done, but lately has been getting worse and worse. I took the car out tonight to try and get some codes, but the only code that came up was 13, coolant temp sensor. The misfire is pretty crippling to the car until you really try to get on it, then it sort of works its way out until you slow down again. It sort of reminds me of my old Jetta with a VR6 in it when the coil pack for all 6 cylinders went bad in the rain. Lots of misfiring till warm up, then only slight misfiring after that.
I'd like to get it down to Bernie for a once over, but thought I would do some pre-investigation first. Any thoughts?
