Message	on a car with boost. There are folks who have eliminated the air reg valve just to reduce engine complexity. Mainly the issue is less than an ideal start-up in colder weather. Just cap off the balance tube and inlet to the idle control assembly -- see how things run that way (won't cause any harm).
