| If you've read my previous posts, you'll recall I had a blockage in my driver turbo drain tube that backed up oil into my intake and some into my exhaust. I cleaned out my turbo inlet pipe and took the exhaust pipe off and drained it. I've driven my car for about ~5 minutes or so and still get oil smoking out the tail pipe. I took my exhaust pipes off again and saw no significant amount of oil left. I let them drain, but nothing came out. My question is: how long can residual oil take to burn off? I thought it was only a few minutes. The problem is that my car smokes a bit more when I get the boost going, and I can't really drive it in my neighborhood for an extended period of time like that. I was going to take it on the highway and see if 10-20 min drive at night would purge what is left. I have no evidence of oil remaining anywhere in significant amounts. The smoke comes from both sides of the tail pipe, but that doesn't say much given that I have an X pipe.
