Subject	Can't get into 5th gear

Message	I did a HPDE track day yesterday, so perhaps some rougher shifting caused this: At times, it seems when the car is cooler (left alone for 15mins), the shifter is very tight and wont move left or right until I jiggle it a bit then I can get it into first. It feels like something is binding. Then once its warmer it will shift from 1-4 ok, little tight. I cannot make it into 5th, there is no grind. The shifter moves over to the right, but will not go up. Any ideas? I do have an aftermarket short shifter.
