Your not chipped.. It's a natural progression to do on a 300.. Because you can.. Options.. ?? If you send out your ECU to be chipped, the car is down.. or.. You can get an Exchange ECU that is already Chipped.. or You can shop E-Bay and get a Stock '93 TT Automatic ECU that will plug into your Car and run it stock with out AIV's.. you will need to get the ECU list from Jim Wolf Web Site to make sure of the ECU you are getting.. and make it a FED ECU not a CA, as the CA ECU needs a few more sensors.. Then you can get a Socket put in your 'Old' ECU.. after you pass your Smog Test
How ever.. But somehow you need a Prom in a TT ECU that does not use AIV's.. and I PRESUME you want to stay 8 Bit ECU..
