Message connector at the sensor is almost impossible to reach with out pulling the pleneum and the lower manifold (some have stated they reached it with the tranny out). Check all other connectors for corrosion like injectors, the MAS, etc clean and fill female part with dielectric grease. Also clean and dielectric grease the batt clamps and posts. Do this maintence then zero the codes and run and retest for codes before replacing the knock sensor which is a PITA.

As a temporary fix do a knock sensor relocate, see these links below and look at last first for discussion.

Check the thermostat, what is the actual coolant temp? If the thermostat is faulty the engine coolant will not be correct and the coolant temp sensor will be sending incorrect signals to the ECU and the ECU then will send incorrect signals to the injector fuel metering. A faulty thermostat will effect power as well as fuel milage.

Check the O2 sensors for correct flashing count while at it check the O2 heater section for Ohms.
