Message	with oil in cylinders compression test to see the gain if any. If no or minimal compression gain the problem could be leaky valves. Also B4 pulling apart check the engine vacuum at idle and at 2000. At idle look for a very steady needle at 19 to 20" Hg and 2000 look for a very steady needle about 1"Hg higher.
