| when on the car before the plenum is installed [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=1086157&forum=technical&dtSearch=40 ] Note before this test above you need to check the injectors on both rails connected with air pressure while submerged in water. You can have the 6 injectors in the fuel rails and connect the end of one rail to an air compressor and plug up the end of the other rail with a pressure gage. Then pressure to 50 psi and clamp down on the air compressure supply line to prevent back flow. If no leaks the pressure gage will hold the pressure, also note if any slight bubbling is happening at the injector tip. This test will reveal the slightest leak at the tip and eliminate this possibility when you do the in the car leak test which will test for leaks at other locations. This may seem like alot of busy testing but you need to do it to make sure the system is completly tight so you don't have leaks appear after the installation is complete. I did this several years ago with a replace of all 6 injectors and system solid to this day. Any questions just let me know.
