I recently purchased 92 TT that recently started having idle problems. I spoke with a couple of my friends and one says possible throttle position sensor issues. While sitting at a light for example, the idle is at 500-900 rpm and it pulses up and down and it sounds like it wants to shut off which it never does. As I accelerate through 1st and 2nd gear it is hesitant, not very smooth. As it gets to higher gears it is not apparent at all. Any ideas?? Taking it to the shop monday but I don't want to get my charged left and right while they try to "diagnose" the problem.
