Message	as far as the clutch fluid goes, are there any leaks in the foot-well, did you pull the carpet back to see? if it's the slave you should be able to tell, pull the rubber boot back/off and see if it's leaking. if you can get it up on hoist or ramps and press the pedal while someone checks for leaks.
