I had a similar problem, I do a lot of motorway driving and the problem would only happen after the gearbox warmed up. it only happened in 5th going back to 4th but after a few weeks there was also a problem going up to 5th. to resolve the problem I replaced the gearbox. There is a fix kit for this problem as it seems to be a know issue, however the kit isn't cheap and the price for the repair is also a consideration. the other option is to get a reconditioned gearbox from a reputable company (I think it would be exchange), may be a better price.
