Message	I've done it several times, but of course I had an advantage. I had no heat shields on my stock manifolds, nor did I have the nut retaining clips on the manifold/turbo flange thus making disassembly easier with the engine/tranny still in the vehicle. The only reason I did this was because I didn't have access to a lift. The wiser choice would be to just pull the engine. I've also had a gasket go out on me because I didn't torque the manifold to the head properly. I removed the plenum, downpipes, disconnected oil/coolant lines to the turbo. And unbolted the manifold and pulled it away from the head while I squeezed a new gasket in between. I may have missed some steps but I just improvised as I went along. You get the idea. Good luck
