| first you need to measure the actual temps with Nissan Datascan or get a handheld temp gauge...it should be around 175-190...if you are getting above 200, then you have an issue it could be (most likely): 1) thermostat 2) water pump 3) fan clutch (this is what caused my overheating) in a properly cooling car, the aux fan shouldn't have to come on at all, so that's prob not the problem. start with what I mentioned. if you search, there is a way to test the fan clutch with the 'spin test'
