Message Specifically the PTU connections, but others including the MAF connector might be the problem also. Look for corrosion, clean them up, give them the wiggle test and hopefully you'll be lucky and that's all it is.

I've had corroded connection problems for years. It's better now as I've clean them all and replaced some others, but it's almost always the first thing I check when the car isn't running right. Years ago my car started misfiring at high rpm, stalled out completely, and then wouldn't start at all. Finally figured out it was corroded PTU connections.
