Message	the engine to tilt just a little if needed. What do you think the transmission is "stuck" on? Hitting the top? I never had any problems once all the bolts were removed. Just had a buddy give it a good kick from the front while I steadied the tranny on the jack. That seemed to be enough to loosen it. Then we slowly lowered while pulling the tranny backwards on the jack to avoid hitting the speed sensor on top of it on the undercarriage.
