job too. The jack is helpful in lifting the tranny slightly so it can be pulled away from the engine.
On the re-install, jacking the engine a little bit is helps to get the tranny aligned again. Once the tranny is disconnected - you'll notice the engine sits in the bay a little "off" since that weight is no longer connected. Jacking the engine (ie., floor jack and block of wood where tranny mounts to engine) helps solve this issue...
