Message	My 95tt is making a horrible valve rattle, and wispy oil smoke from the exhaust on light to moderate acceleration, the mechanic I took it to says the motor is toast, I'm not a mechanic, he said the oil pressure is low, so I thought maybe the oil pump may have gone bad and not pushing oil to the heads? Looking into the oil filler hole the oil is black. I did do an oil change about 3-4 weeks ago with a new filter. Got about 114k miles never really been raced or beaten on, had the belts done about 5-6 weeks ago not timing belts. Will get a second opinion, but thinking out loud on were I should proceed with this situation. TIA
