So I just had my motor rebuilt. Replaced a lot of stuff with the goal of getting reliability and longevity out of the build. Now that I am done with the break in, my mechanic strongly suggests that I replace my old style 555cc injectors with new style 740cc units due to the ethanol content in Ca gas. All of my injectors ohm out to spec currently. How likely is it that these will fail? Will there be any warning signs, or will I just go lean one day at 12psi and melt my new forged wisecos? Anyone in Ca have any success keeping these injectors alive?
