Message	due to the injector hanging open after the engine shuts down. The fuel pressure bleeds the fuel into that cyl which would result in a flooded/washed cyl. That fuel would evaporate but upon restart when the pump primes the system it actually floods the cyl again. The result will throw the whole emission system into chaos until the excess fuel is burned off, which results in a hard start. Just a thought
