Message	your problems. I have heard of many many cases in which a very good mechanic, not experienced in these cars, does it wrong (no offense). I say review the write up and follow it exactly. ...... That may not have been your original problem. Even though the old clutch had life in it, the old pressure plate could have been weak from age.
