Message	Are you pulling the engine out to do this or are you doing it in the car? I thought you were doing in the car. If so, using the hoist to hold the engine up is fine but the legs of the hoist will be in the way under the car while you are getting in and out from under the car. If you are just pulling the engine to do this, thats fine and pull away. No reason to drop the crossmember though.
