That sucks....I'm using the stock gauge. I notice that the oil gauge is always at 60 on the freeway and at the lower mark during idle so i figured thats why Nissan put the marks there. If the actual pressure on the freeway is around 45 then when did Nissan think the oil cooler would be used? Does the pressure ever get to 57 to actually use the oil cooler? When its cold the pressures are higher because the oil is thicker but thats exactly when you dont need a cooler! Is oil flowing through the cooler at start up when the pressure is high?
