| Hey all, I am replacing my steering rack because it has given me trouble for months. I pulled out the rack tonight and lined it up with another used one that I bought off a member and ran into a little snag. I just realized that I cannot rotate my rack at all without the assistance of the steering pump. I tried as hard as I could even with a clamp on the end of the rack but it just won't budge. I would just like to know how it would be possible to clock the new rack when I cannot even determine the position of the old one? Should I use a measuring tape to verify the lengths of both tie rods ends and try to ballpark it from there? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
