Message	Was it wet to the touch? Gray RTV does not dry as hard as Black RTV. Also an unmolested glob will seem much softer in appearance than what you'd expect pressed between the valve cover and head matting surface. There is no glory in preparation & practice, but without preparation & practice there is no glory. So do it for the "Z"... and GLOOOOOOOORY!
