Message	On these cars, most of the time it actually is the synchro grinding. If you try changing your tranny fluid (to Redline, Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc.) you might get rid of the grind. Also, these cars don't go into 1st gear too easily when in motion (it's a safely mechanism). However, if you're rolling, and can't get into 1st, try revving your engine while you're trying to shift into 1st and clutch is to the floor. This usually helps ease it into gear.
