Yes - the TT pump has more capacity, and you are right on that. Thanks for the FP answers.Clarification for quest. #1. I am researching if there is a way to tell the ECU to pull timing on a temporary basis. I would like to enact a safety in which if my IAT goes above threshold - amongst other things, the timing would back off. Of course this would have to happen very quickly. Upon better conditions, I would like the timing to recover to normal. At the risk of being flamed, I am looking into doing a non-intercooled very short charge pipe (maybe 8"!) twin turbo setup. The turbos being factory type, and placed side/front of motor. Water/alc injection would be used, but I would need to have some safety systems in place in the event of a water/alc failure. I love the TT, but the 2 things that bother me about it are the access to the turbos and the long complicated charge pipes. I'm not looking for a ton of power here. So-is there a known way of forcing the ECU into retarding the timing on command, as the det sensor would? Thanks again!
