Message If you didn't put in an external oil cooler you'll want to do that.
Also you might want to buy an aftermarket oil and water temp gauge since the stock water temp gauge doesn't really tell much and aren't accurate.
Lower temp thermostat.
Electric Fans don't help anymore than the clutch fan, just frees up a couple horses.
Vented nose piece.
Air Guide.
Could remove the hood and or nose piece once in a while.
I live in Mississippi and on days when it's above 100, I take the bolts out of the hood hinges, because I have a set of longer bolts and 1" washers I put under the hinge. Raises the back of the hood up enough to let out a lot of heat.
If you're not using the AC you could remove the fan and the condenser.
Yeah the engine bays in the TTs get HOT. I actually have a burn scar on my arm when my hood prop moved and the hood fell on me and I put my weight on my arm on the radiator. I've never noticed any damage to anything caused directly by the heat in the engine bay.
