| This link explains the system well. Factory boost control I've recently installed an aftermarket boost gauge. I've noticed that my stock gauge seems pretty accurate, but that may not be the case for all. The graduations are spaced very wide on the stock gauge which also makes it difficult to get a good measurement even if the gauge is accurate. I'm running over the 14 psi max for the stock gauge, which with your stock injectors would be a risky place to be. I would recommend 12 or 13 psi max. You may have to experiment with different sizes of jets to get the boost just right. This is what I'm in the middle of now.
