Message In addition I'll say to add a length of hose so that the boost jets are within reach next time you want to access them. .... Also, you can adjust boost by changing boost jet size. You can make boost jets with 1/4" dia alum bar and a drill, if you are somewhat talented. .... The concept in simple terms: that hose tells the recirc valve that you've got enough boost. There is a bleed-off jet after the recirc valve, so the boost the recirc valve "sees" is constantly changing because it gets boosted air via that hose and bleeds it off through the bleed-off jet. When you add boost jets, the boosted air is partially cut off by the jets, so the recirc valve "thinks" that you don't have enough boost yet, and thus stays closed providing higher boost. So boost jet hole size, compared to bleed-off jet hole size, determines boost.
