| Is this just to have confidence that the system is working normally as expected? Seems to me if you have a boost spike at a certain rpm or something isn't right at the shift points it happens so fast you'd never see it anyway. Obviously if you're consistently running too high a boost across the power band having an accurate meter would highlight this but if it was a real problem the knock sensor would pull the engine back anyway --starting at mid power at least-- and a hellofa lot faster than we could recognize with an aftermarket boost gauge. I must be missing something here as folks near and far add new gauges all the time. What am I missing?
