| OK, starting a few weeks ago brake lights stopped working. Replaced the control relay at rear drivers side of car by stop lamp. No success Now, this may be my own doing as a few weeks ago I installed a a new stereo and may have unplugged something but for the life of me cannot diagnose. Looking around the driver footwell today noticed: 1. of the two pin switches for the clutch, the one nearest the driver only has one wire going to it. Yes, should be a plug with both but this was originally an AT car.. Cannot figure out what wire goes to the other post on this pin switch. 2. For the brake there are two switches, one on the left which is stop lamp and the other is on the right and is cruise control. Hmm... The plug with wires connected to it goes to nowhere! Just two wires.. Still not seeing how either of the above could make so brake lights not working.. Suggestions? And yes, already checked the bulbs!
