| ok guys i tore it all down for shits and giggles cause i didnt like the lower timing belt cover sounded like it was rubbing on my harmonic balancer ( drive belt pulley ) and it was so i solved one problem...... Timing is perfect car fired up perfect ran solid sounded sick for a good 5 minutes let it warm up did all my coolant and everything shut it off and it wouldnt fire back up sounded like something was leaking so i checked all the radiator hoses and nothing was leaking.
ITS MY FUCKIN INJECTORS GRRR wasted 2 days of tearing this bitch down to be a anal mechanic and for nothing except piece of mind. I have to pull my plenum again and redo my injectors. How do you guys put injectors in the rail? I have deatschwerks (dont get me started on how shitty they are i know!) and the z1 phase 1 to phase 2 adapter kit. I put the silver adapter on the bottom of my injectors lubed them up placed them in the rail gently and than put the injector caps (the z1 ones) and tightened them down slowly and evenly. What other way would i put these in? i dont own a vise and dont have access to one.
