| There really aren't any differences in the block itself... Some people say that the na's are not drilled and tapped for the turbo coolant lines, however both na blocks i have seen were drilled and tapped, they just had a plug put in the holes since there are no turboes needing those lines. The Oil squirters that connect on the top inside of the block between the cylinders are different. These are removable so i do not consider them part of the block... Many people use the na oil squirters on tt builds using forged pistons ( like Weiscos). As far as casting removal, I have heard of people using rebar and a slegehammer....That sounded far too caveman to me. I bought a set of steel die grinders with extended rods/shanks. Make sure you get the steel ones and use them only for steel! The aluminum bits go dull quickly and using the steel bits on aluminum pieces gums them up immediatly. I removed the "freeze" plugs on the top and one in front and back and it allows you to access all of the coolant galley that is messy. Using those bits in a drill i went to town...not the fastest job in the world but it gets it done and i am very pleased with how smooth it leaves the passages.
