The bushings themselves are pretty damn resilient, you can cram them through and they once they pop out the other side they take their correct form. I'd wait for others to chime in though, maybe they've got better ideas. About 2 years ago (wow, has it been that long?) I pulled my rear suspension all apart, cut out all of the bushing and sleeves, had the parts powder coated, and installed the ES bushings. They're all assembled in boxes now since I've gone ahead and installed all of the SPL goodies since. I plan to keep 'em around just in case I find the ride to be unpleasant with the SPL arms - though at the rate I'm going it'll be another couple years before I know.
