Subject	boost guage necessary?

Message	Hey I've been reading up on twinturbo a lot, I've found most of the answers I've needed in other posts, but this is my first time posting. I have a '94tt I was looking towards putting a boost gauge in, but i was wondering if that is really necessary? It seems like there is already a boost measure underneath the RPM meter. So what is the need for an aftermarket boost gauge. Am I missing something important? Thanks. Ting
