I have performed searches and found some good info but not exactly what I'm looking for. I'd rather not start a debate on the merits of Daytime Running Lights but would like to get technical assistance with how to rewire the Fog relay to accomplish true DRL functionality which is ON whenever ignition is ON and OFF whenever the headlights are turned ON or the ignition is OFF. I'd like to keep the Fog light switch as a mechanism to completely disable the DRLs when desired. I plan to keep the 35W stock bulbs but eliminate the glare guards. The goal is to increase the visibility of my vehicle to other drivers during daylight hours. I have no use for fog lights where I live. For those who may suggest just turning on my headlights during the day, I can then no longer read my clock or radio displays as they are automatically dimmed when the headlights are on. I am also afraid I will accidentally leave the lights on during the day. Desired Function: 1. Fogs are turned ON when ignition is turned ON, and are OFF when ignition is OFF. 2. Fogs are automatically turned OFF when headlights are turned ON. 3. Fog switch can be used to completely disable DRLs Thanks!
