| maybe it would be worth your while to look at the wiring schematic and continuity test the wires from the speed sensor connector to the speedometer connector to make sure you don't have an open circuit somewhere, or a wire shorted to ground. Gary seems pretty confident the cluster is good, and the odds of two bad sensors would seem to be pretty low. Did you see this post of mine about the back end of the speed sensor backing out and causing the sensor to not output a signal? Worth at least looking at your old sensor.
