| my speedometer is not working again. Just sitting at 0. Nothing helps...tapping or otherwise. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? I replaced the speed sensor and the speedo has been repaired and the actual speedo gauge replaced. Now I notice that the cruise doesn't work, the mileage counter isn't working and after a little driving the power steering gets harder. I'm told that it is going into safe mode since it doesn't have a signal. The trouble started last year. As instructed I replaced the speed sensor with a new one from COZ. Speedo still didn't work. So I removed it and sent to Gary for repair. When I got it back, it worked fine for about 6 weeks. Then, it stated to fail. It would work for a few miles and then die. Most recently, it's just dead. So I pulled it again and spoke to Gary. He agreed to take another look at it. He put it on his test bed and ran it for hours with no problem. He even replaced the speedo gaule and sent it back. When I put it back in, it worked for a few minutes (if that) and died. Now nothing... I have the old speed sensor so I guess I'll try that. I also heard it might be a ground somewhere. Oh joy, that sounds like fun! All ideas and suggestions are welcomed!
