Message I have the old VG from my PMM Z. I'm going to rebuild it eventually, but for now, I need to store it more effectively than I have it currently; sitting on an engine stand in my garage.

So what's the best method for storing an engine? I have drained the oil, will drain coolant. I'm planning on removing the heads from the block for space saving. Should I spray the block with WD or Liquid Wrench as a rust inhibitor, or does it even matter? I can use an impact gun to remove the head bolts right? What about the girdle? Should I get some heavy duty plastic bags to put the heads in?

Thanks in advance.
