Message However, he said feramic discs can usually be popped off the flywheel fairly easily with no real damage. He said it probably just seized a bit and needs to be gently pried off with a screwdriver through the starter hole. He said it might make some sound temporarily but that it should even out after a short bit of driving. I'm hoping that is the case and that it won't require a resurface.

When I ordered the clutch, we went over the pros and cons of feramic and my needs. We determined it would be great for me as a street car that wanted to make power but that, if I were to try the occasional drag racing, I should not slip it very often.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

WILL JSCHRAUWEN EVER ANSWER MY QUESTION?

John, stop it! You are not allowed in AMS threads and you know it. -- marty1mc

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
