I am practicing my soldering before I cut my harness to solder on my newer style injector connectors. I did a bunch of research on basic soldering tips and techniques and I was wondering if anyone has anything to say about this practice joint. I used a no-clean type paste flux and rosin core solder. 50W soldering iron. I twisted each end of each section of wire then twisted the two ends together (I didn't "mesh" the individual strands). I put on the flux, set the iron on the bottom side of the wires, and fed the solder onto the top of the wires, letting it melt and wick into the joint. I think I'd like to have made the twist that joined the two ends tighter at the ends, but other than that, I think this is a good joint. Am I wrong?
Thanks! Andy
