So I started getting this vibration in the drivetrain ever since I got my 5 puck installed. It gets vigorous and loud around 2200 rpm in any gear, but after about 2500, it's almost gone, but still there. I don't feel anything vibrating, but hear it making the sound and I guess somewhat feel it in the clutch pedal. It is also less apparent in lower gears, but while i'm cruising, I definitely feel it. Originally thought it was the driveshaft as although it had some life left, it was on it's way out, so I changed that with a 1 piece aluminum, but the problem still persists. also, when riding the clutch (ex. going up a hill from stop), and I don't want to launch, as I slowly let the clutch engage, I hear a rubbing/scraping sound. I do not know if this is one of the 5 puck properties, so i'm throwing it in there in case it helps. At this point, the only thing I can think of is it is the stock flywheel. Why? Long story short, when the shop was installing the clutch, they had to "puck" the flywheel and couldn't get it machined. I don't fully understand what pucking is, but I know it involves "resurfacing" by hand. Would anyone know why my clutch makes that noise when slowly engaging at above idle rpm, and what may be causing the drivetrain vibration? The car drives fine until the vibration kicks in. Then I have to gear down and push it so when I gear back up, it's above 2500rpm. If I try to push it hard in a higher gear at 2200rpm, the vibration sound gets LOUD until after 2500, however, the vibration is barely felt regardless except in the pedal slightly. Any help would be appreciated! Would rather spend $400 on other z things at the moment, but if you guys have had similar issues, or would bet on the pucking being a culprit, i'll probably buy the lightweight flywheel. Thanks!
