| beginning, but I knew you didn't want to believe it. I don't blame you. :-) My bet is still on the throw out bearing slipping up off the proper attachment point on the clutch fork. Nice jar coming off a trailer could cause it if it wasn't quite attached properly to begin with. It's hard to explain what it looks like without seeing it, but when I had the bell housing off and pressed the fork it was obvious. The TOB still moved forward but didn't have any "oomph" behind it. Certainly not enough to release the clutch. Once the TOB was firmly "snapped" in place it did. 2nd guess would be broken pivot ball. I guess either of those would be good news as you wouldn't have to do a "complete" clutch job, just to the point of removing the bell housing. Good luck.
