| :I quadrupole checked my timing prior to reinstalling motor. All marks lined up and as per FSM. Cannot locate timing mark on pulley. Could there be another cause of this or should i pull the timing belt off now? The general cause of the timing mark missing from the crank pulley is that it is a cheap piece of chinese ebay crap. Please update your profile so we can see what we're dealing with. Not only is the mark missing, but the annodizing and/or allloy may be wrong, which will result in rapid wear of the ribs on the pulley. If this happens it will become increasingly difficult to stop your belts from squealing. Do yourself a favor and just replace it
